A Note from our Founder:

Thank you for subscribing to our BSLSWORLD Newsletter. BSLS started 15 years ago and it's beyond a blessing to still be a servant leader in this life-changing organization. We are currently at 11 15 campuses nationally (high schools and universities) and our programs have been cultivated to be intentional for our members and the communities we work and reside in. BSLS started with the mission to shift the educational experience and to create a community of young women to network and grow with. As a Black, women-teen-founded nonprofit, we are beyond grateful to all of you who have been on this journey with us to keep our mission soaring to new heights. We are grateful for all of your support during these challenging yet invigorating 15 years and we are looking forward to your continued support as we shift and scale on an evolving path. BSLS truly relies on our community for ongoing support always and in all ways whether that's your time in volunteering, sharing our org with your community, guest speaking, or a financial contribution. Thank you for all that you do knowingly and unknowingly as we continue to strive for excellence in our lane.

 Growing, Going, and Glowing Forward!

This heartfelt BSLS View 7 production captures our evolution and the contributions of our members and leaders alongside businesses that have fueled our progress over a decade and a half. A special shout-out to our sponsors who have been the pillars of our success, especially during our 15th Anniversary on July 7, 2023. You can watch the news-themed documentary on our BSLS YouTube channel. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel, like, share, and comment on our video posts to keep the content coming!

BSLS Multiple Building Funds Project

We're embarking on an ambitious journey to support multiple building funds nationally. Together, we can provide safe and affordable housing for students in need. Join us in this meaningful endeavor by participating in our current call to action and contributing to the project's success. The shortage of student housing in HBCUs is a pressing issue. Many students are burdened by loans they can't afford, affecting their education and future prospects. Help us make a difference by supporting initiatives that alleviate this challenge.
