BSLS UPCOMING EVENTS
12th ANNUAL BSLS COMMUNITY FAIR
📍 Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 1PM - 4PM
📍 Location: Crestmont Park at 5200 Selinsky St. Houston, TX, 77048
A day designed for families, students, mentors, retirees, partners, and community supporters.
Featuring:
• Local vendors
• Youth activities (egg hunt, face painting, moonwalks and more)
• Family resource tables
• Giveaways
• Free food and beverages
We are also currently seeking partners to help us secure bikes for youth as part of our wellness initiative. If you or your company would like to sponsor a bike or support our 5k race, we would love to connect. To donate or sponsor click here
Introducing Our Inaugural BSLS 5K
We are excited to announce our very first BSLS 5K happening the morning of our 12th Annual Community Fair.
This inaugural race will kick off at 8:00 AM at Crestmont Park and is designed to bring families, supporters, and community members together around one powerful theme: wellness in motion.
Whether you run, jog, or walk, this 5K is about more than miles. It is about modeling healthy habits for the next generation, showing up for yourself, and investing in community health.
Participants will receive:
• Finisher medals
• Commemorative event T-shirts
• A meaningful, family-friendly race experience
Proceeds support BSLS Mission which supports mentorship, leadership development, wellness initiatives, access-driven programming for youth and women, plus more.

Recognizes leadership, resilience, and commitment to community.
Catalyst in STEAM Scholarship
Supports members pursuing science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics pathways.
Alumni Legacy Scholarship
Invests in continued academic or professional growth for BSLS alumni.
First Generation Achievement Scholarship
Supports students who are the first in their families to pursue higher education.
