A Note from our Founder:
Dear BSLS Members, Alumni, Friends and Supporters,
As we approach the close of this year, it's a moment to reflect, appreciate, and celebrate the journey we've had this year. Amidst the holiday cheer, I hope this message finds you wrapped in the warmth of joy and surrounded by the love of family and friends.
In the spirit of mentorship and community that unites us, our Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program has thrived, weaving connections and fostering growth among youth and women nationally. It's a testament to the power and resilience of our bonds and empowering programs.
While this time of year can evoke various emotions, it's a chance to rejuvenate our spirits, to pause and reflect on the milestones we've crossed and the paths we've paved together. As we embrace the holidays, let us cherish the moments that bind us closer and inspire us for the year ahead.
Remember, you're part of a community that uplifts, supports, and empowers one another. May this holiday season infuse your life with renewed hope, peace, and the contagious spirit of giving.
Let's step into the new year with enthusiasm and a community commitment to continue our journey of mentorship, growth, and service. May your days ahead be filled with blessings, opportunities, and the unwavering support of your tribe far and near.
We are wishing you a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Joyous Kwanzaa, and a prosperous New Year filled with health, success, and the fulfillment of your aspirations personally and professionally!
Looking forward to furthering our connections and serving together in the upcoming year.
Together, let's be the difference and show everyone how we can and will make a difference.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and spreading this word about BSLS,
Aneisha Hughes

What We’ve Been Up To:
The BSLS annual community fair keeps expanding and improving each year. We contributed bikes with helmets, books, food, and more while organizing family-friendly entertainment like electric bull rides and various engaging activities. | If you, your company, or family want to join us in 2024 as a volunteer, sign up now! Your community needs you and so do we to continue to bring essential resources while making an impact on young future leaders. |
While there are only a number of days left of 2023 , there is still time to make a significant difference by helping the work of BSLS continue. Please consider Gifting from the heart for our Grow15 to help bring us to our $15,000 goal. We challenge you to share this fundraiser with your community, and join us in paving the way to scale the future of BSLS's mission. If 150 people each gift $100, we would be able to easily meet our goal by December 31st!
Support us to raise $15,000 as we celebrate our 15th Year of Impactful Mentorship and Youth Development. Help us continue to invest in the future of innovative mentoring and young women's development today!
