Member Spotlight: Zaria D.

Zaria D. Ware is a 1st Year Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at Florida A&M University recognized as a Presidential Special Scholarship and Friends of FAM, Inc. Scholar. She has strengthened her academic and clinical skills through the 2025 STEM Summer Scholars Institute at Indiana University, the SHPEP program, and pharmacy shadowing experiences. A dedicated leader, Zaria serves as the 2025–2026 President of the Big Sister Little Sister Mentorship Program at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, is a member of Council Class 36, and a Leader for Council Class 42. As Community Service Chair, she coordinated the Read Across America literacy event and the Touch of Sisterhood mentorship program at John G. Riley Elementary School. She has also held leadership roles within the Pre-Pharmacy Class of 2029 and volunteers with Big Bend Cares, Inc., reflecting her commitment to service, mentorship, and the pharmacy profession.
